Lathi

Lathi is a Javanese word for "mouth".  I want to talk about this particular part of human anatomy in the context of a popular Javanese proverb that says "Ajining diri saka ing lathi". Heard the sentence since I was in the fourth grade, the meaning of every word can be easily found on the internet through the google translate. The machine told me the meaning which is "oneself reputation is depend on their mouth". Yet, the "mouth" in this context is not literal mouth which consists of two thin fleshes. "Lathi" in this context is words, promise or even behavior.

In many context, rhetorical skill is essential. It means that in every part of life, being fluent and orally dependable is an additional point.
